Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

Does it bother you that Jesus is portrayed as having long, flowing hair?

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

no and no and no and no and no no no.

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

No - because the bible is a form of cryptology and I read between the lines

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

There is no need to take them 'out of context'

The bible is pretty clear on the issue

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

whomever condems long hair is just voicing their personal preference. They are probably very conservative, full of fear and really have no REAL personal intimacy with JESUS!

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

Men with long hair dont bother me...but people saying Jesus had long hair does...he was a Nazarene which meant he may have had below the ear a little longer than most but not to His shoulders. America has invisioned in their head how Leonardo da Vinci painted him %26lt;and we all know he was a nut case%26gt;

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

No.

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

No, I don"t give a rat's bologna sandwich how long His or anyones's hair is for that matter. Shouldn't have anything to do with how you percieve a person.

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

No, it has nothing to do with how a person look, it what in their heart.

Do you take Bible verses out of context to condemn males with long hair?

No, not at all...but that Fabio guy, now he's gotta go!!! Peace

There should be no condemnation of men with long hair form any Christian. It is not a huge issue in the Bible, therefore it should not be made a huge issue in life. Yes, the Bible says it's a shame for a man to have long hair. But it never says it will send somebody to hell over it. Jesus didn't have long hair.

why don't you give link to the verses.

That way we can make our own misinterpretations.

A misinterpretation got hillbillies dancing around with hands full of rattlesnakes.

THE

SNAKE HANDLERS

Snake handling was an outgrowth of the Azusa Street revival. In 1910, after reading in Mark 16:18 "they shall take up serpentsé–³?and it shall not hurt them," former bootlegger George Went Hensley, aka "Little George," took a rattlesnake box into the pulpit. He reached in and lifted out the venomous viper, showing his faith to take God at his Word. He then challenged his congregation to do the same. News spread throughout the hills of Grasshopper Valley in southeastern Tennessee. Before long, others joined in the handling of rattlers. The practice continued for ten years until one of the faithful died of a snakebite. Hensley moved to Harlan, Kentucky.

...I couldn't care less how He is portrayed. It makes no difference to me, since in our home and church we do not have paintings or statues that represent artists' ideas of what they think He looked like. We really don't know what He looked like.

...As for Bible verses against long hair - with our son, my wife and I decided independently of each other and before God that the length of his hair was very unimportant and a non-priority issue - what really matters and is far more important is his Christian character and reputation.

...I feel sure that one day he will either cut of his own will or will have to cut it to be employed - he is going through a similar phase like I did. My desire as a parent is keep communication open and to love my son.

...I condemn no man with long hair - I don't think it is manly, but that is my opinion. I believe shorter hair is much cooler and easier to care for than longer hair.
