It only changed due to women becoming less submissive to men and scripture as time goes on. All scriptures advocate this but, we think we know better than God or Gods representatives. The chased women follow this, as well as long dress covering the legs. Otherwise we are acting unchaste.

It's a respect thing. It shouldn't be a "do I have to?" It should be a "I want to" thing. It's no longer required but it is still a sign of reverence.

...if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering...but could it hurt to do it anyway, if you feel that makes you 100% sure your doing things the right way...

If youre muslim absolutely.....but i find it ironic that 'christians' say "not anymore" uhhh why is that? if it was the rule before why wouldnt it be now? Islam alhamdulillah isint like that, whats the prayer now is the same EXACTLY as 1400 years ago... LOve us or hate us at least we dont say "not anymore" or thats old fashioned....
