Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

The bible says this, but how come Jesus is always depicted as having long hair?

Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Sort of contradictory to the story of Samson and Delilah, isn't it? One minute the hair is a sign of strength and the next it's a shame unto him.

Because Christians don't actually read their Bible.

Not that I blame them.

Artists decide what length of hair Jesus had - no one knows.

As far as the hair thing is concerned - it is a "disputable" matter and in the big scheme of things............What difference does it make? People get caught up in this hair thing - how long is too long? Past your ears. Past your shoulders? Past your butt. Who knows. Who cares?

Is hair going to get you into heaven or send you to hell? I don't think so.

these were actually painted, or sculpted or whatever in the rennaisance. Do some research. One of the ten commandments was not to make a graven image of the likeness of anything on the earth above the earth or below the earth. So this wouldnt have been done in earlier times either.

He is depicted this way because they want us to see Jesus as a homosexual character, with the long blonde hair, blue eyes, flowing gown and such. His image (which is not his image at all) seems less intimidating this way. They also want us to see Jesus dead on the cross, which is why they peddle these sad looking images of him on the cross. These are diabolical mind games, designed to deceive the wicked.

True Christians know that in Jesus' day, men did not wear long hair. Neither would Jesus have had blonde hair. Had Jesus actually appeared in such a hairstyle, Judas would not have had to point him out to the Roman guards with a holy kiss. He would have stood out among the jewish crowd.
